Andrea Anders
Anders was born in DeForest in Wisconsin but is currently residing on the west coast of Los Angeles. She graduated from DeForest Area High School in DeForest, Wisconsin in 1993; and received an undergraduate degree in Fine Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 1997. In 2001 she received her master's in fine arts in fine arts from Rutgers University. Anders dated Matt LeBlanc from 2006 until 2015. They dated on the set of Joey the sitcom that was cancelled. Sean Anders directed her in the films "Sex Drive" and "Never Been Thawed". Since 2001 Anders began her career in the theatre. In the Broadway production Proof, she was Mary Louise Parker's sub-study. Later in The Graduate, Anders played Elaine Robinson. On the Jump was her first performance on The Arena Stage. New Doors occurred at the Guthrie Theater. The two New York Stage & Film productions, namely Cold/Tender and New World Rhapsody were also produced through New York Stage & Film. Anders first made an appearance as Jeannie in Fat Pig on the Geffen Playhouse stage. Fat Pig shut down on July 1, 2007 with her playing the accountant Jeannie. Anders debut TV appearance came in a Dannon advertisement which ran through the middle of the 1990s. She then appeared again in 2006. Anders is most well-known because of her roles on Joey (as lawyer Alex Garrett) and The Class in the role of Nicole Allen (nee Campbell), an ex-football player's wife. In both cases she appeared present on every episode, but they were both removed from the air. Anders has also made appearances as a guest on One Life to Live, Law & Order, The Guiding Light, and Tru Calling. In 2003 she appeared as Donna Degenhart on five episodes of the HBO drama Oz. She also made brief appearances on The Stepford Wives (2004) as Heather as well as Sex Drive (2008) as Brandy. Anders made an appearance in Numb3rs (2008). Anders has appeared in two TV pilots which were unsuccessful. Spellbound & News To Me. Anders most recently was cast as Better Off Ted by Victor Fresco which is an ABC workplace comedy that is made with a single camera.
